1. Innocent people are being publicly
put to death by firing squads in
various parts of Pakistan every day
just because they are " shias".
2. Pakistani/Afghanistani Talibans, other
home-grown Islamists and their suicide
bombers are bloiwng up mosques, schools,
police stations, military, naval and air
force bases, markets etc. so frequently
and without any fear of punishment;
3. An 11 years old Christian girl is being
kept in 'police protective custody' for
saving her life from blood-thirsty mobs;
4. A federal Minister of Christian faith,
late Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti and the governor
of Punjab Province, late Salman Taseer
were brutally murders by some other
' defenders of Islam';
5. Members of Ahmedia community are being
attacked, killed and their mosques and
property being destroyed on daily basis;
6. Other members of minorities such as
Pakistani citizens of Hindu faith,
are being foceably converted to Islam,
expelled from their ancestral homes
and driven to foreign lands to seek
shelter and legal protection;
ONE MUST WONDER WHO ARE THOSE REAL, BONAFIED AND ALSO FORTUNATE CITIZENS OF PAKISTAN FOR WHOM ALL THOSE RIGHTS AND PRIVILIGES AS DESCRIBED SO ELOQUENTLY IN THE CONSTITUTIONAL CLAUSES ACTUALLY APPLY.
Perhaps, it is time that those so-called elelcted representatives of the Pakistani Parliament, should sonsider amending the Constitution by adding a precise definition of " A FULLY QUALIFIED CITIZEN OF PAKISTAN":
Considering that the name is an Islamic Republic of Pakistan, its Parliament with full consultations, blessings and approval from outside religious elite based in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq and Iran may also include a full definition of a " TRUE MUSLIM".
This should help all non-Muslim citizen of Pakistan understand that:
Their basic rights are NOT protected by the constitution and that their daily conduct will be judged harshly under the "Blasphemy Laws" as interpreted by some mosque imams and other self-proclaimed Ayatullahs, imams,muftis and Islamic scholars.
This should allow various minorities in Pakistan to appeal for UN protection from constant "REIGIOUS PROSECUTION" and total denail of basic human rights as included in the UN charter to which Pakistan, as a UN member state, is a signatory.
